Description: A professional development service for VET practitioners.
Purpose: To provide RTOs and practitioners within the VET sector with relevant and up to date professional development in order to broaden their knowledge and improve their training and assessment practices.
Outline of service: RTO support includes the following:
- The rules of evidence in practice (40 min)
- Clustering, it makes sense (40 min)
- Industry consultation, how to get it right?
- Collecting industry evidence that counts (40 min)
- Unpacking a unit of competence (80 min)
- Designing assessment tools that work (160 min)
- Moderation and its role in good assessment decisions (40 min)
- Continuous improvement, producing outcome (80 min)
- Responding to complaints and appeals (40 min)
Cost: The final cost may vary based on the scope of the requested services. As a guide:
- Half Day workshop with 10 participants – $1,100.00 + travel cost
- Full Day workshop with 10 participants – $1,760.00 + travel cost
Other information: Please note that the cost is inclusive of GST. Newbery Consulting does not charge for travel time. Invoice is issued on the day following the visit. Newbery Consulting payment terms are 14 days. If you have specific requirements, please contact us to discuss.
