This webinar focuses on how risk management can be used as a practical governance tool to measure compliance within a Registered Training Organisation. It unpacks the regulatory expectation for RTOs to identify, manage and review risks to the organisation, and explains how this can be applied in a structured and practical way.
The session draws on obligations under the revised Outcome Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2025, particularly the governance requirements relating to risk management Standard 4.3 (2) (a). The webinar also xplores how risk management can be used to assess the strength of existing compliance arrangements across the organisation.
Rather than treating risk management as a technical or abstract exercise, this webinar explains how leaders can use it to step back, review current arrangements, identify where controls are weak, and make informed decisions about where improvement is needed.
The webinar also walks participants through practical risk assessment scenarios relevant to RTO operations so participants can see how the method works in a real compliance context.
